(More customer reviews)We used this tape on our cedar deck stairs. It seemed kind of expensive for what is basically a few feet of sandpaper, but seemed like a simple project to keep the stairs safe during wet Pacific NW winters. It was very easy to install - just cut, peel, and stick. We made sure to do it after the deck was dry for a week. At first it worked great, but after about a month of rain the strips started coming unstuck. They just slid around a bit at first, but then started coming off completely. The strips themselves came off in solid pieces that are in good enough condition to try reinstalling with better adhesive. They didn't leave any residue behind on the wood, which may be why they didn't work well.
